How to Kick Stronger

1
Drain all of the tension from your body. If you're stressed about kicking the ball as hard as you can, your muscles will be tense and won't have the range of motion that comes with relaxation.
-
2
Drive your knee ahead of your foot. If your leg remains at an acute angle (forming a V) until the last possible moment, then you drive your foot through, you will have more linear velocity when striking the ball.
-
3
Hit the ball with the first knuckle on your big toe. Your foot has many bones, but you want to use the largest one to drive the ball, so you get the most force. The first metatarsal is the largest bone, and it ends at that knuckle.
-
4
Send your whole body through the ball when you kick. This will keep your momentum at its greatest when you hit the ball; otherwise, you'll already be slowing down at impact.
-
5
Load your leg with your last step, bringing your heel all the way back up near your behind. Stay over the ball so you see your foot strike the ball.
