How to Create a Soccer Boot
Instructions

-
1
Go to the website of a company that offers "boot creation." The easiest-to-use sites and the some of the highest quality boots are produced by Nike and Adidas.
-
2
Select your gender. Men and women have differently shaped feet, so your sex is important to creating the right boot. Select the wide boot insole if you have wider-than-normal feet.
-
3
Select the outsole based on the surface on which you will be playing. The surface options include standard firm ground grass, soft wet grass and artificial turf. If you play mostly on firm grass, choose firm ground plastic studs. If you live in an area where it rains often and the grass is wet or muddy, select the metal six-stud outsole. The metal studs are stronger and deeper than traditional studs, allowing you to grip the surface without falling. If you play on artificial turf, choose the short, plastic stud set up.

4
Choose the material for the uppers of your soccer boot. The upper is the part of the boot that touches the ball. Your options include kangaroo leather, cow leather or synthetic leather. Kangaroo leather is the most expensive boot material, but it also provides the softest touch. Leather is slightly cheaper than kangaroo leather and is long lasting. Synthetic leather is the cheapest material, providing a "stickier" touch, and will take a little getting used to.

5
Create the colors of your boot and add any customized images or text. You can choose any color you like for the tongue of the shoe, the brand logo, the heel piece and the collar lining. You also can add your name or nickname, as well as the logo of your favorite professional soccer team.
