1
Choose a name for your team. Using an Internet search feature, type in a web domain name you will want to represent your team on the Internet. Once you have chosen a name that is available for purchase, use a hosting company or domain re-seller to buy the domain. You can buy from directNIC, Go Daddy or HostGator.
-
2
Find a company to host your new domain. HostGator offers various packages starting from $4.95 a month. Choose a company that sells website templates such as RocketTheme or Template Monster. Purchase the template you want to use and load it onto the server of the hosting company you have chosen to work with.

3
Create the list of information you want displayed about your team. Include the location, such as the address, city, state and ZIP code. Be sure to list your phone number and email address. On the team website, place this information where it can be easily found by those interested in joining the team or supporting it. Add the team colors or uniforms on the section.
-
4
Create the website based on the information you have gathered. Create the navigation menu first, then the subsections under each main header, so you will know where to place all the information. For example, if you create a header called "About Us," this is where you will list an overview of your team, the owners of the team and a timeline of your team's history. Do this for each section you will have on the site. Make sure the proper information about the team goes under the right subsections. You should include the basic headers such as "Home," "Players," "Tickets" and "Merchandise." Ask the players on the team for all of their pertinent information. You will want to list each person's name, height, weight and position, and you should include a photo. The profile for each player should include place of birth, date of birth and number of years experience playing the game. You can also list the player's strengths and weaknesses.
-
5
Recruit players and hold tryouts for those who want to showcase their skills and talent to play for your team. Make sure you have the coaches, owners and other team management there to make solid business decisions. The players you select will be the ones you hope can win you a championship.
-
6
Join a league. Contact your local parks and recreation department to find out what areas have soccer leagues. Determine the strength and experience level of your team so that you choose the proper league based on your team's abilities.
-
7
Purchase the uniforms, balls and other equipment you will need to make it through the season. Ensure that your players have the proper protection to avoid as many injuries as possible.
