Grants for Youth Soccer

Youth soccer teams and leagues rely on outside funding to help offset the costs of running their programs. With the economic downturn, families and teams find it hard to afford all of the equipment and secure the funds necessary to keep the programs going. Various soccer foundations and associations as well as local community and corporate foundations provide grants to youth sports groups.
  1. U.S. Youth Soccer

    • U.S. Youth Soccer offers three grant programs for soccer clubs, organizations and nonprofits. The Recreation Grants Program was created to enhance U.S. Youth Soccer State Associations and other member organizations. This program supplies funds to maintain and expand established programs. Organizations or groups must have been in existence for at least three years to be eligible to apply. Soccer Across America Grants are awarded to groups and organizations looking to establish a soccer program for under-served youth across the United States. This grant program was created to bring soccer clubs and sports to low-income areas or areas not currently served by another soccer club or organization. The TOPSoccer Grant program serves to bring soccer programs and events for people with disabilities. Grant amounts and deadlines vary annually.
