      Find the location on the boots where you want the design. The design could be on the front of each boot, above the toe, on the outer side or on the back. Use colored permanent markers to create your design so that it does not wash away in the rain, or when you are cleaning the boots.

      Sew on different designs, symbols or words to the boots using a needle and thread. Run 3 feet of thread through the eye of the needle. Cut the thread from the spool using the scissor.

      Make sure that the design is sewed on a part of the soccer boot that has thick fabric, such as the side of the boot. Use a variety of colors of thread if necessary to create the design. For example, if the German flag is being sewn to the side of the soccer boot, use threads in black, red and gold colors.
