How to Paint Soccer Balls on Finger Nails

Painting nails is a popular fashion statement by girls of all ages. While many polishes simply involve applying a single color to each nail, more advanced designs can be created for those looking to add a little extra flourish to their nails. Adding soccer balls over the base color of nails is a great way for a soccer enthusiast to show their love of the sport while also creating an aesthetically pleasing look, which is relatively easy to create.

      Paint the finger nails your desired base color for the nails and allow to dry.

      Draw a white circle in the center of each nail that will be featuring a soccer ball and allow to dry. Use a paint brush to apply the white polish. You can blow on or gently fan the nails to allow them to dry faster.

      Add the spots to the nail using black nail polish and allow to dry. There should be six spots in total, one that is a full pentagon in the center of the ball, and five partial spots around the outside of the ball aligned with each of the points of the center pentagon. Use a very fine brush to apply the spots.

      Connect the center pentagon to each of the outer spots with a line, and allow the paint to dry.

      Apply a clear protective finish after the soccer balls have dried. With intricate designs like this, it is especially important to seal and protect the polish to prevent chipping from ruining the paint job.
