1
Remove your shoes and socks before trying on the shin guard. You need to have an accurate fit against your skin to make sure the Adidas sports wear fits properly.
-
2
Slip on the Adidas shin guard. Test the fabric that goes around your ankle and base of your foot. If the fabric is loose and you can easily turn the shin guard, the product is too large, however if the fabric is pinching your foot and ankle it may be too tight. Having an Adidas shin guard be too tight may eventually cut off the circulation in your foot.
-
3
Press the shin guard against your leg and tighten it with the Velcro straps across the rear of your leg. The shin guard should come within an inch or two of your knee. Any shorter, and the Adidas shin guard is too small.
-
4
Feel around the tightened shin guard. If it is loose and you can move it easily you need a smaller shin guard. The Adidas shin guard needs to be pressed firmly against your leg, otherwise you may not receive the full leg protection the device can provide.
