Tetra Semi-Automatic Pistol and Revolver Cleaning
-
Apply Tetra Gun Copper Solvent to a cleaning patch or mop until it is completely saturated. Run the patch through the bore of the gun, and if you are cleaning a revolver, run the saturated patch or mop through each chamber as well. This solvent will remove any copper residue left in these areas. Then spray Tetra Gun Action Blaster through the bore and each chamber (for a revolver) and run a brush through several times to remove any built-up fouling. Then, spray the brush off with Tetra Gun Action Blaster as well so it will be clean for the next use. Run a dry patch through the bore and each chamber (for a revolver) to remove anything left in the bore and chambers. Saturate another patch or mop with Tetra Gun Lubricant and pass it through the bore and chambers (for a revolver) many times. Lubricant protects the bore and chambers and makes later cleanings easier. It has also been known to increase muzzle velocities as well. Run another dry mop or patch through the bore and chambers. Clean the exterior of the gun with Tetra Gun Action Blaster that has been applied to a clean cloth. Spray Gun Action Blaster on any moving parts to remove fouling build-up. Supply Tetra Gun Grease to hinges and moving areas.
Tetra Rifle Cleaning
-
Completely saturate a cleaning patch or a mop with Tetra Gun Copper Solvent and run it through the bore. Let the rifle sit for 30 minutes or longer. The longer the solvent is allowed to sit, the cleaner the bore will get. Run a metal brush through the bore many times to loosen any stubborn fouling. Clean the brush with Tetra Gun Action Blaster, so it will be ready for the next cleaning. Spray Tetra Gun Action Blaster directly through the bore. Angle the barrel of the rifle toward a towel or rag. Run a dry patch through the gun barrel to remove any loosened fouling. Add Tetra Gun Lubricant to a patch or mop and run it through the barrel several times to help further clean and protect the gun barrel. Dry mop the barrel one last time for a good finish. Remove and clean the bolt with Gun Action Blaster and a clean cloth. Add Tetra Gun Grease to friction areas on the bolt. Clean the barrel and receiver with Tetra Gun Action Blaster. Add lubricant to all external areas of the rifle to clean and protect the finish. Wipe any extra lubricant away with a clean cloth.
Tetra Shotgun Cleaning
-
Cleaning a shotgun is similar to cleaning a rifle. Clean the brush with Tetra Gun Action Blaster so it will be ready for the next cleaning. Spray Tetra Gun Action Blaster directly through the bore. Angle the barrel of the rifle toward a towel or rag. Run a dry patch through the gun barrel to remove any loosened fouling. Take the chokes out of the barrel and clean them with Tetra Gun Action Blaster, too. Add Tetra Gun Grease to the choke threads and replace the choke. Add Tetra Gun Lubricant to a patch or mop and run it through the barrel several times to help further clean and protect the gun barrel. Dry mop the barrel one last time for a good finish. Clean the barrel and receiver with Tetra Gun Action Blaster. Add lubricant to all external areas of the rifle to clean and protect the finish. Wipe any extra lubricant away with a clean cloth.
