How to Rig a Pink Lady

Fishing lures are largely a matter of personal preference by each fishing sportsman, but there are several varieties that have lasted through decades, including the bright, colorful Pink Lady. This early- to mid-season lure is hand-tied with fins that cause them to propel downward and can get the hook deep into the fish. Rigging the Pink Lady takes a bit of time, but is easily performed by both beginners and fishing experts.

Instructions

    • 1

Thread a sliding sinker onto the fishing line, followed by the first two beads on the Pink Lady.

    • 2

Tie a swivel to the end of the line, followed by the other end of the swivel, leaving a 3- to 4-foot line in between.

    • 3

On the end of the leader, tie a hook, rigging the bait onto the hook.
