You can distinguish your personality and flaunt your unique taste and style by customizing your own fashion eyewear. A way to make and express a style that is unique to you is by creating and spotting your own customized shades.

      Go to an online fashion eyewear store that provides tools for customizing and ordering shades. Visit Oakley or the Sunglasses Shop to view a list of best-selling designer shades styles you can customize, including sport sunglasses, lifestyle sunglasses and active sunglasses (see Resources). Follow the Custom Oakley link on the Sunglasses Shop website to go to the eyewear customizing page.

      Choose the designer shades style that appeals to you. Click on the shade's image you want to customize to select it from the list provided.

      Customize the shades you have chosen using the options given. Select frame and lens color and frame and lens shape. You also may be able to customize the MLB etching (the image you would like etched on your shades), text etching, preferred ear socks and the accessories to include in the custom shades.

      Preview the custom shades you have created in the adjacent preview window before placing your order. Make any necessary changes to the custom shades to satisfy yourself the shades reflect your style.

      Place your order for the custom shades you've created. Follow the on-screen prompts on either website to complete your order. Enter your order and payment details, including your contact name and address, shipping address and credit card details.
