How to Make Your Own Ice Grips
Running on icy ground can be slippery, which can result in falls and injuries. By adding ice grips on the bottom of your running shoes, you can increase traction and reduce your chances of accidents and slips. Shoes equipped with ice grips or removable ice cleats can be costly. If your running shoes have thinner outsoles, you can use 3/8-inch screws, especially for the front side of your shoes, which tend to be thinner. For extra thin shoes, use 1/4-inch screws.
