How to Wash Nike Shock Shoes

Nike places a lot of technology into its Shox shoes to maximize your workout experience while you're performing a wide range of activities. Responsive cushioning allows your toes to spread and move, and shoe sensors provide you with instant workout feedback by transmitting the amount of calories you've burned and your pace to the sensor and back to you for review. With all this technology it's a good idea to know how to clean Shox shoes by hand. Throwing them in the washer isn't an option.

Use saddle soap on shoes that have upper parts made of leather.

Wash each shoe separately by submerging a shoe into the basin or sink and, if the shoes don't have any leather or suede components, scrubbing the upper parts with the cloth.

For Shox shoes containing upper parts made of leather and suede, hand wash each shoe separately using a soft cloth dampened with saddle or mild soap and cold water.

You can also use a soft bristle brush on shoes with uppers made of synthetic Durabuck.
