Practice skipping. Skip as fast as possible. Push off with one leg as powerfully as possible. Practice skipping like this for about half an hour a day to increase the power of both legs gradually.

Work on squats. Squats build up the muscles in the legs, which are important to jumping power and ability. Squat 100 times a day to build up leg strength.

Practice jumping. Use both legs one at a time. Gradually work on increasing the height. Add mobility such as jumping to the side or backwards for any sport that requires ease of movement like basketball.

Run daily. Running, like squats, can improve leg muscles and build up the muscle gradually. Muscles that are more powerful can jump higher.
