     Untie the strings that secure the top of the net to the volleyball poles. Leave the lower strings tied to the poles.

     Tie one of the top strings back to the pole at the height you want the net set at. Tie the other top string to its pole so the top of the net is taut.

     Untie the lower strings from the poles and let them hang down. Tie the lower strings to the poles so the net is taut.
