Indoor Sports
-
The Mississauga Recreational Sports Club is where locals flock to when Ontario temperatures drop. The club offers many indoor activities for both adults and kids. The goal of the center is to provide sports leagues for the community, with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship. Most members enjoy increasing their overall fitness while creating new friendships and relationships in the community. Winter activities include basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, dodgeball and soccer. There are several teams for each sport, playing at various levels, both male and female. The prices for the season are reasonable, and most of the teams meet weekly.

Outdoor Rinks
-
Outdoor skating rinks are a great place to spend time while doing something both healthy and fun. Many of the local communities in and around Mississauga maintain community rinks. Weather permitting, the rinks operate December through March. Though individual time schedules vary, and calling ahead is best, most rinks maintain hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Most rinks prohibit hockey sticks.
