How to Buy Snow Gloves

1
Decide if you want gloves or mittens. If your hands are naturally cold all the time then mittens are your best bet. Having all your fingers together keeps them warmer from your body heat.
-
2
Choose gloves or mittens that are waterproof. When the snow melts on the gloves, your hands become very wet and cold. It's best that you spend the extra money for a waterproof lining or buy Gore-Tex snow gloves.
-
3
Buy snow gloves that compliment your jacket. If your jacket is tapered at the wrist, it's best to buy the gloves with the large cuff to go over your sleeve. If your jacket is not tapered at the wrist, then buy the gloves that slide underneath your sleeve.
-
4
Look for gloves with the inner liner. It's usually made out of fleece and keeps your hands extra warm.
-
5
Pick features on the gloves that are convenient for you. Some gloves have the clips that secure them to your jacket if you tend to misplace things. There are even gloves with features to wipe off your goggles.
