Instructions

    • 1

Put on a tampon. Bulky pads are not attractive when you're tumbling and hitting toe touches high in the air. For extra safety, put on a pantyliner as well.

    • 2

Double up on your bloomers to be on the safe side. If the color of your bloomers are light, wear black panties or a dark, solid-colored bathing suit bottom underneath the bloomers.

    • 3

Change your tampon often, especially if you have a heavy cycle. During halftime, head to the bathroom. Make sure that you don't have any leaks.

    • 4

If you suffer from menstrual cramps, think ahead. Take medicine to alleviate pain before the game, and make sure that it doesn't make you drowsy.

Watch your attitude. Put a smile on your face even if you feel miserable. You are, after all, a cheerleader.
