Start writing your resume. Include educational information. List your high school experience and your college degree(s) after that. It would also be prudent to include any academic achievements you received, as you are trying to stand out.

List your sports experience and achievements. This is the most important section of a professional athlete's resume. Include any awards, championships or statistics that sets you apart from the crowd. Remember to include any teams that you have been a part of and the achievements of that team as well.

Include a paragraph that describes yourself and why you would be the best candidate for the job or on the team. Include information about dedication and hard work and let the employer know that you are serious and ready to perform.
