  1. A Wheelie Is Also Known a Manual

      Choose a flat piece of pavement to being learning and practicing a wheelie. This will help you get used to the motion and movement without danger of wrecking and getting injured.

      Begin pedaling your bike and get up no higher than 5 mph. You will need this speed to help you keep your balance once you are in the wheelie.

      Stand up on your bike's pedals. Begin slowly leaning back and shifting your weight over the back tire of the bike.

      Pull the handle bars of your bike up hard, lifting the front wheel off the ground and into the air.

      Balance your weight over the back tire and keep pedaling at an even pace to keep your wheelie going.
