1
Find a place that you can take dirt from or shovel out of the ground. You are going to need about 10 wheelbarrow loads of dirt. The dirt that works the best has a slight mixture of clay in the soil so that when you wet it down, it compacts better. Wheelbarrow the loads of dirt over to your ramp site and dump them there for the preparation.

2
Grab the 50-gallon emptied barrels and pile them in a triangle/pyramid shape on their side. This is going to act as the base or foundation for your ramp.

3
Take the dirt you've piled up and begin throwing it on top of the barrels. The barrels will save you many loads of dirt and hard work as they work as the bulk and the height of the ramp. Completely use all of the 10 loads of dirt that you have to cover the barrels in an inclined slope. You can make the ramp as steep as you want. The more dirt the better, so that when you wet it down it forms a more solid foundation. The barrels should be completely unseen and covered.

Turn on the water and begin spraying down the dirt ramp. Don't soak it too much, but a light sprinkle for about five minutes should start the compacting process. Let it dry for about five minutes and then take your shovels and stamp them on the dirt, compacting it as well as shaping it. Repeat this process three or four more times, until it is compacted enough to take your dirt bike on.
