1
Paint your longboard deck. Use colors like black, blue and gray to create a mysterious, darker look or use neon paints like green, yellow and pink to get a popping, eye-catching board. Spray paint and airbrush designs create unique artwork opportunities that no one else will have.

2
Change the wheels of your longboard to match or accent the new color of your board. For example, if you are going for a brighter look, you can replace your Sector 9 wheels with bright blue or orange wheels, adding to your color scheme.
-
3
Find or design your own stickers and apply them to your board strategically. You can use letter stickers to spell your name, the name of a band or team, or the name of your school. You can also use bumper stickers if you desire. Because Sector 9 longboards are larger than regular skateboards, you have more space to experiment with sticker designs.
-
4
Apply clear lacquer to your longboard, spreading it evenly across the board with a paint brush. Allow the lacquer to dry undisturbed and, if desired, add another coat. This will seal in your unique designs and protect the board.
