Nordictrack Apex 6100Xi Specifications

The NordicTrack Apex 6100xi is an in-home, motorized treadmill that folds up to save you floor space when you're not using it. NordicTrack produced this treadmill model around 2001. The Apex 6100xi offers two programming modes and a large console with one-step control buttons. It also includes iFit interactive technology.

    • The Apex 6100xi has a speed range between 1 and 10 mph and a power ramp that inclines from 1 to 12 percent. The console has one-step buttons to control the ramp and belt speed. The maximum user weight for this NordicTrack treadmill is 300 lbs. The deck folds-up into a vertical position and locks into place. The transport wheels on the bottom allow you to roll the treadmill to a storage area.

    • The walking deck of the Apex 6100xi is cushioned to ease the impact on your joints. The running belt is maintenance-free, meaning you do not have to apply any lubricant to the belt like you do on other treadmills. The console has a book holder, water bottle holder and comes with two light dumbbells, although NordicTrack recommends only experienced users hold the dumbbells while walking as it is easier to lose your balance.

    Programming Modes

    • The Apex 6100xi has a manual mode and a preset program mode. In the manual mode, you control the belt speed and incline using the buttons on the console. In the program mode, choose from one of 27 built-in workouts that control the belt speed and incline for you. The 6100xi also includes a fitness test program that measures your fitness level and a heart rate program that adjusts the workout intensity to keep your heart rate near a target level.

    • The built-in iFit.com technology allows you to connect the Apex 6100xi treadmill to your home stereo, CD player or computer with the included audio cables.
