Instructions

    • 1

Sit in a sturdy chair; avoid soft-cushioned chairs or sofas as this type of surface affects your posture. Sit so your buttocks are supported, but make sure your back is not leaning against the back of the chair.

    • 2

Place the Bally Total Fitness Fit Gear Ab Tightener so the lower portion is resting halfway between your pelvis and your knees on your thighs. Ideally, the Ab Tightener is a minimum of four inches above your knees.

    • 3

Grab the handles of the Ab Tightener so your thumbs are pointing away from each other and your palms are facing your chest. This will cause your elbows to flare out to the side slightly.

    • 4

Straighten your back, and in a fluid motion bring your chest down to your knees. Make sure you keep your back straight throughout the entire movement. By moving your chest toward your knees, your abs are contracted and the Ab Tightener provides slight resistance and helps ensure the movement is correct.

    • 5

Slowly return back to the original position and repeat.
