How to Replace Pull Ups in P90x
P90X is a home workout program from Beachbody. Several of the P90X workouts call for pullups, which will require you to install a chin-up bar in your workout area. This can be problematic, as the Beachbody "Extreme Newsletter" points out, "chin-up bars can be bulky and difficult to place." Fortunately, P90X offers another option: you can perform lat pull-downs using the Beachbody's B-Line resistance bands and the B-Line Upgrade Kit.
Instructions

1
Open the door and loop the B-Line Upgrade Kit over the top hinge. The B-Line Upgrade kit is a simple strap that forms a loop.
-
2
Pull one end of the loop through itself to create a slip knot around the door hinge.
-
3
Close the door and place the B-Line resistance band through the loop that you've created.
-
4
Sit on the ground and pull the B-Line resistance band to perform a lat pull-down. The technique varies slightly for each of the P90X exercises but the resistance band technique is demonstrated in the video. Simply follow along to ensure that you're using proper form.
