1
Control your breathing. Deep breathing can calm you down and lower your adrenaline level. Breathe in slowly, and breathe out for a few seconds longer than you breathed in.

2
Create a "battle cry." This is a technique that members of the military use to lower their adrenaline levels and turn their stress into positive energy. You can come up with a sentence that you'll repeat to yourself or even a chant that you say loudly. Anything that will calm you down and channel your energy will do the trick.

3
Act quickly. The sooner you respond to your adrenaline rush, the sooner it will go down. You may have to physically move your body or simply control your thoughts, but either way, act as soon as you feel the surge of stress.

4
Practice controlling your adrenaline. You may not be able to lower your stress levels as much as you'd like the first few times you attempt to. However, as you get more used to noticing when your adrenaline is sky rocketing and you practice techniques to lower it, you'll become better at the task.
