How to Make DIY Jumpsoles

Whether you're prepping for an outstanding athletic season or if you just want to sculpt sexy legs, jumpsoles can help. Jumpsoles are shoes that force you to walk on the balls of your feet, providing a great workout for your calf muscles. Fortunately, you don't have to spend money on a brand new pair. Instead, gather a few household supplies and create your own to see similar muscle-toning results.

Instructions

    • 1

Wrap a roll of toilet paper in duct tape. Make sure it is completely covered so that the roll is reinforced. This will allow you to walk on the toilet paper roll without it unraveling. Repeat the process on a second roll so that you have one for each shoe.

    • 2

Choose a pair of basketball shoes that you'll convert to homemade jumpsoles. They can be high top or low top, depending on your preference.

    • 3

Hold a shoe in one hand with the sole facing you. Then align the duct taped roll of toilet paper with the toe of the shoe so that the cardboard inner roll of the toilet paper is parallel to the sole of the shoe.

Use duct tape to adhere the roll to the shoe by wrapping it around the toe and lacing area. Wrap as many times as necessary, making sure that you can still put the shoe on comfortably. Once both shoes are complete, you should be able to walk with the rolls of toilet paper beneath the toes and balls of both feet.
