How to Use Hand Weights While Walking

Hold the hand weights down at your sides with your palms facing inward. Raise your arms up to the side, level with your shoulders. Hold for a few seconds and then lower your arms. Do this while walking.

Repeat the first step but instead of lowering the arms after a few seconds, bend your arms at the elbows into your shoulders. Extend your arms out and repeat again.

Hold the hand weights down at your sides and bend your arms at the elbows towards your chest. You can either do one arm at a time, alternating arms, or you can bend them both at the same time.

While walking, extend both armstowards the sky, with the weights in your hands. While your arms are extended up, bend them at the elbow, resting the weights on your shoulders. Repeat the procedure a few times.

Raise both of your arms straight out in front of your body while holding the weights. Turn your palms up. Hold the position for a few seconds and then lower your arms.
