How to Start a Nordic Track EXP 2000 XI Treadmill

The NordicTrack EXP 2000 XI treadmill allows you to get an intensive cardiovascular workout from the comfort of your own home. The EXP 2000 XI folds up for storage --- significantly reducing its footprint compared with other treadmills in the NordicTrack product line. To start the EXP 2000, the emergency key must be connected to the treadmill. Turn the treadmill on to begin your workout.

Instructions

Clip the emergency key to the waistband of your clothes. The key shuts the treadmill off in case of an accident.

    • 3

Insert the emergency key into the console of the treadmill. The slot is labeled "Key." Stand on the foot rails on the sides of the treadmill before inserting the key. Allow the treadmill to power on and adjust the incline level.

Press the "Enter weight" button and determine whether the weight is correct. If it is not, press the "Enter weight" button again and use the number pad to enter the proper weight. Wait four seconds after entering your weight for the setting to be saved.

Press the "Start" button to begin your workout. Move your feet from the foot rails to the treadmill and begin walking or running.
