1
Punch a heavy bag while a partner holds it. Wear proper boxing gloves to protect your hands and wrists against damage. Your partner will be able to gauge your power and, if the partner is knowledgeable in punching mechanics, can help you add power by modifying your technique. Boxing pads are also very useful for this and your partner will know if your shots have power or not.

Spar with a boxer in a boxing ring. Wear safety headgear and a mouth guard along with proper boxing gloves. While the safety gear should ideally prevent knockouts from happening, you'll know if your punches are doing enough damage or landing with enough force to cause a KO and your sparring partner can give you feedback once the sparring session is over.

Work with a trainer in a boxing gym. The trainer should be experienced enough to know from watching you if you have KO power and which punches in your arsenal are the most powerful. The trainer can also help you develop knockout punching power if you don't have it already.
