How to Set Up an Exxel 4-Piece Explorer Pack with a 2-Pole Dome Tent

The Exxel 4 Piece Explorer pack is a camping play set available in several Disney theme designs. The set comes with a small dome tent, backpack, flashlight and compass. It is designed for adventurous kids and lightweight camping purposes. The tent is not a heavy duty camping model and is best suited for backyard camping in fair weather. Setting up and using the play set is easy and requires a small amount of outdoor or indoor space.

      Choose a safe play area and remove the contents from the packaging. Check the tent elements to make sure you have a compass, flashlight, backpack, tent, tent cover and two tent poles.

      Place the flashlight in the mesh side pocket for safe keeping. The mesh pocket is also ideal for holding a small water bottle. Attach the compass carabiner clip to the backpack strap for safe keeping, and to have it within easy reach for hiking and other outdoor activities.

      Assemble the tent poles by joining the four sections together using the ferrule connectors to create an "X" shape. Slide each pole section through one of the short sleeves on the sides of the tent, and place the end of each pole in a corner fabric pocket to raise the tent.

      Drape the fabric cover over the top of the tent. Attach each corner clip on the cover to the fabric loop on top of each sleeve. This will stretch the cover and prevent rain from entering the tent.

      Unzip the tent door and add cushions, pillows and sleeping bag for overnight camping.
