Setup Instructions for an Ozark Trails 14X8 Tent

The 14 X 8 Ozark Trails tent is manufactured by NorthPole Limited for Walmart department stores. The spacious eight-person tent is water-repellent and features three mesh windows to allow refreshing cool breezes to pass through. Large enough to accommodate two queen-sized air mattresses, the tent has enough room for all the campers in your party along with their gear. The tent is easier to assemble with two adults, and will be a comfortable home away from home on your next car-camping trip.

Choose a clear, level campsite and spread out your tent. Fully extend all of the tent poles and arrange them into groups.

    • 2

Put the center roof pole on the center of the tent roof, and attach a three-way hub to each side of the pole. Put a side roof pole on each side of the center roof pole. Attach a four-way hub to each end of the side roof poles.

    • 3

Put each roof gable pole into the four-way hub, matching the blue pole with the blue hub.

    • 4

Lay the roof assembly over the tent body. Attach the S-hooks from the tent body to the hubs on the roof frame assembly. Fasten the plastic clips from the tent to the roof frame.

    • 5

Insert the corner leg poles into the hubs on each corner of the roof frame. Put the opposite end of the poles into the corresponding metal pin rings located at the base of the tent. Slide the center leg poles into the hubs on the center of the roof frame. Put the opposite end of the poles into the corresponding metal rings at the base of the tent.

    • 6

Put the eave pole into the opening on all six of the roof frame hubs.

    • 7

Spread the rain fly over the tent. Put the ends of the eave pole into the pockets on the underside of the rain fly. Fasten the Velcro from the rain fly to the frame. Hook the S-hooks on the rain fly corners to the D-rings located at the base of the tent, near the corner metal pins.

    • 8

Stake the tent through the fabric loops located at the base of the tent.

    • 9

Attach the interior shelf, mesh pocket and curtain by attaching the S-hooks onto the loops sewn on the tent seams.
