Instructions for the Ozark Trail 2-Dome Connection Tent

The Ozark Trail 2-dome connection tent is an expandable tent that's capable of sleeping eight to 10 people. Two zipper expansion flaps are located on both sides of the tent to which two additional, smaller dome tents are connected. The tent is highly portable and the large fly ensures a weatherproof sleep. With the right instructions the tent is rather straightforward to set up. In a matter of a few minutes, you'll have the tent set up and ready to sleep in at your camp.

Instructions

    • 1

Unroll the large, center tent on a flat even surface, preferably grassy, and pull all four corners out to stretch the tent as flat as possible.

    • 2

Unzip the door and extend the doormat as far as possible away from the center of the tent.

    • 3

Assemble all five center tent poles by pushing one collapsible tent pole piece into the other. Slide all five poles through the five sleeves one by one and secure each pole by putting each end into its corresponding pin ring found around the base of the tent.

    • 4

Snap each quick clip onto its corresponding pole. The clips are located on the body of the tent.

    • 5

Roll out the two smaller side domes on both sides of the tent that has extension zipper flaps. Stretch out the four corners of both tents to flatten them out as wide as possible.

    • 6

Open both doors. Assemble all eight poles for the smaller domes. Fit four poles through the pole sleeves, one by one, on one tent and secure the poles by fitting the ends into the pin ring found along the tent's base. Fit the remaining four poles onto the second smaller dome in the same way.

    • 7

Snap the quick clips onto the four poles found along the body of the tents on both tents. Zip the tents together by connecting the outdoor zipper on the smaller tents to the extension flap zipper.

    • 8

Place the large center fly over the center tent with the log facing up. Secure the fly by connecting S-hooks to the small loops found on each tent corner and wrap the nylon fasteners, found the underside of the fly, around each pole. Place both smaller flies over the two side tents and secure them in the same way.

    • 9

Assemble the fly pole and fit it through the sleeve found on the front of the center fly. Place both pole ends into the metal grommets to secure them in place. Repeat on both smaller tents.

    • 10

Secure all tent corners by driving a stake through each pin hole found around the base. Tap the stakes with a mallet if the ground is difficult to push a stake in by hand.
