How to Set the Height on Walking Poles
Hiking and backpacking are both great outdoor activities that incorporate exercise with the enjoyment of the natural environment. Some hikers also prefer steep uphill ascents over casual strolls. For uphill and downhill hiking, a set of trekking poles can make traversing uneven terrain much easier, and provide a safety support. Many hiking poles are fixed to specific lengths, however, many are also equipped with a retractable inner slide feature to lengthen or shorten the pole to your desired height.
