The Los Angeles chapter of the Sierra Club organizes more than 400 outings annually, including walks and trail hikes. Members can also take a Wilderness Travel Course to be better prepared to face the elements while hiking. The Easy Hikers group appeals to walkers looking for a slower pace, while the K-9 Hiking Committee brings dogs along for hiking fun.
