Citizenship Ceremonies

Becoming an American citizen is a lifelong dream for some. Witness this important event at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Several times each year, the venue plays host to naturalization ceremonies. Those becoming new Americans take the Oath of Citizenship from the arena floor. The U.S. District Court and the Department of Homeland Security conduct the events. Usually, on event days, a morning and afternoon ceremony occur. Friends and family of new citizens are welcome to attend.
New Year's Eve Celebration

Ring in the New Year at the "Together As One" New Year's Eve Los Angeles event. This event, taking place since 1998, is an electronic music festival that attracts large crowds. Past performers included Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Sander Kleinberg and Deep Dish. Those 21 years and older can visit one of the full bar areas at the arena. It also has a vendor village, food concessions and a choreographed countdown to midnight. VIP access grants concertgoers backstage access, an open bar, unlimited soda, juice and energy drinks and a private decorated VIP area.
Dance Festival

The Los Angeles Sports Arena has hosted Monster Massive since 1997. Billed as America's Largest Halloween Dance Music Festival, the event usually sells out. Most event attendees come in costume. Past performers included Felix Da Housecat, Steve Hurley, Carl Cox, Adam Freeland, Aphrodite, Junior Sanchez and Misstress Barbara. The festival is so large that events take place both inside and on the arena grounds.
