How Do I Use a GPSMAP 60CSx Depth Finder?

Garmin's GPS Map 60CSx is a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with sensors including a barometric altimeter to provide accurate elevation data. An electronic compass can determine your heading and direction, and maps are also included. One feature of this GPS is the ability to create a graphical vertical profile of the route you have taken when you're using US Topo 24K maps. This allows you to see a visual representation of the ups and downs of the route, including the depths of any canyons or mountains that you've descended.
