How to Remove the PWC Carb Filter Screen
A PWC is an abbreviation for personal watercraft. Personal watercraft are either stand-up or sit-down style, high-speed watercraft or simply, jet skis. These watercraft are gas-powered and rely on the use of a carburetor, like other small gas engines, to mix oxygen and fuel that creates combustion and power for the engine. PWC carburetors have a part known as the filter screen. As its name suggests, the filter screen helps keep particles and other impurities from entering the carburetor. Occasionally, these screens have to be removed for either cleaning or replacement if they are damaged.
