How to Register a Schwinn

Schwinn produces bicycles as well as fitness equipment. Registering your Schwinn bike or other equipment with the Schwinn company has many advantages. Registered Schwinn products are logged in a database in case the equipment is stolen. In addition, Schwinn owners who have registered their bicycles will get product updates and entered in sweepstakes. You must be at least 13 years old to register Schwinn equipment, by the way. If you purchased your Schwinn from the Schwinn call center or website, your product is already registered.

      Go to the Schwinn Bike or Fitness Product Registration page. You'll find a link in this article's Resources section).

      Enter your name, address, email address and other pertinent information into the corresponding fields.

      Enter the purchase date. Look on your receipt for the purchase date. Also enter the name of the store where you purchased the product.

      Enter your Schwinn bicycle or product model and serial number. The Schwinn bike serial number is located on the underside of the pedal mount. The location of serial numbers varies on fitness equipment. Schwinn stamps its serial numbers on the underside of the rear or front stabilizer, underside of the frame, right side of the frame or the rear dropout on fitness equipment. If you are unsure of the product model, call Schwinn customer service at 1-800-626-2811.
