How do I Reset a CatEye Cyclometer?

Resetting a cyclometer will allow you to either erase the settings to use on another bicycle or to calibrate the cyclometer for a specific bike trip. Depending on the version and model of the CatEye cyclometer you have will determine the procedure necessary to reset the device. Resetting a cyclometer takes several seconds by pressing a few buttons located on the device. In some cases, simply removing the batteries and reinserting them into the CatEye can reset the device.

      Take the battery out of the ATC CatEye or press the "AC" button located on the back of the device.

      Press the "Start/Stop" button to select miles or kilometers.

      Press the "Set" button to reconfigure the cyclometer to your preferences.

    CatEye Cordless, Solar II, Vectra

      Press the "Mode" button and select "ODO" mode.

      Press the "Start/Stop" button to select "Stop."

      Press the "Set" button which will allow you to recalibrate and input your preferred data.

    CatEye Mate

      Remove the batteries and reinsert them. The batteries are located on the back of the CatEye Mate.

      Press the "Set" button to insert your new preferences.

      Press the "Reset" button if you want to change the settings from hundredths to tenths digits.

    CatEye Micro, Mity, Mity 2, and Enduro

      Push all three buttons located on the cyclometer and hold for 2 seconds (Mode, Start, Stop).

      Press the "Start" and "Stop" button and select either "Miles" or "Kilometers per hour."

      Press the "Mode" button, which will allow you to input your preferred information like the time, distance, etc.
