How to Install a Sig P220 Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace Lasergrips are laser sights incorporated into a handgun's grip. They provide quick, accurate aiming without the delay of lining up a target in conventional sights. Just place the red laser dot on the target and pull the trigger. Lasergrips are useful for law enforcement and personal defense when the duress and threat level may preclude pausing to align the target. Hunters may install Lasergrips on a backup handgun. Dry firing with Lasergrips at a shooting range helps perfect stance, trigger control and sight alignment without expending expensive ammunition.

      Verify that the pistol is unloaded.

      Unscrew the existing grip mounting screws and remove the original equipment grips.

      Install the dust shield between the Lasergrip and the frame of the pistol.

      Install the grip containing the laser first. Wrap the connecting segment around the frontstrap and install the other grip on the opposite side of the pistol.

      Insert the grip mounting screws and tighten securely.
