How to Install a Tek Lok Sheath

Tek Lok sheathes are made for tactical uses such as law enforcement, search and rescue or firefighting. The sheathes use a ballistic nylon and plastic to house knifes or handguns horizontally or vertically. When the Tek Lok is closed, the knife is locked into the sheath for safe and worry-free carrying. Tek Lok sheathes are designed to fit onto tactical Kydex or Concealex sheathes and holsters.

Instructions

    • 1

Take the Kydex or Concealex nylon webbing holster or sheath off any pants or clothing and set it out on a flat surface. Decide if you want the knife or handgun to carry horizontally or vertically. Open the Tek-Lok sheath.

    • 2

Slide the Tek-Lok under the belt and align it to the sheath mount holes. Close the Tek-Lok sheath over these holes so it snaps into the closed and locked position.

    • 3

Screw the two connecting screw-bolts into the Tek-Lok so they go into the Kydex or Concealex screw holes.

    • 4

Slide the black plastic safety bar over the top (or side if mounting horizontally) guide bar to fully enclose the Tek-Lok. Remove when ready to place a weapon into the sheath, then slide it over to lock the knife or handgun into the sheath for safe carrying.
