How to Buckle a Dutyman Police Belt

You don't have to be a police officer or in law enforcement to use the Dutyman line of products. Among these products is the Dutyman Police Belt. The belt is a 2 inch wide black leather belt that uses a standard single buckle and belt pin. A series of pre-punched holes ensure a custom fit for varying waistlines. The belt is designed to withstand heavy use and holsters.

      Thread the belt through your trouser or short belt loops. If you have holsters or sheathes that do not have snaps or enclosures, slide them in the belt as you thread the belt through the trouser or short loops.

      Push the holed end of the belt through the single buckle when the belt is fully threaded through the belt loops.

      Pull the belt end through the buckle until it snugs against the waist, holding the trousers or shorts up and the gear in place. Push the pin through the hole closest to the snugged position and then pull the holed end down to secure the buckle.

      Thread the excess belt length through the nearest available belt loop past the buckle on the waist.
