How to Adjust the Trigger on a Walther Falcon

The Walther Falcon is a .22-caliber air rifle manufactured by Walther America. The rifle is designed to shoot pellets and can be used for hunting small game or target practice. It has a factory-rated velocity of up to 1,000 feet per second. The rifle is fully adjustable, including the trigger assembly. The factory setting on the trigger pull of a Walther Falcon is 5.2 pounds of pressure, although that can be increased or reduced fairly easily.

Instructions

    • 1

Make sure the rifle is unloaded. Remove all ammunition and check the breech to make sure the rifle is clear.

    • 2

Place the rifle upside down in a rifle bench rest. This will provide a secure platform from which to adjust the trigger.

    • 3
      Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver.

Place the tip of a small Phillips-head screwdriver through the hole on the bottom of the trigger guard.

    • 4

Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the small set screw on the front of the trigger assembly.

    • 5

Turn the set screw clockwise to increase trigger pull, or turn counterclockwise to reduce trigger pull.

    • 6

Remove the rifle from the bench rest and test-fire it. Repeat steps 1 to 5 as needed until the trigger pull is acceptable.
