Lean into a fairly sharp turn from a high speed.

Extend your outside leg, placing it almost on its side, with your wheels still touching the ground.

Turn your inside skate 90 degrees so that your heel is perpendicular to your outside skate.

Shift your weight entirely to your outside skate. This is the key element to the power slide stop.
