1
Clean the hose and tanks. Disconnect the hose and tanks from the breathing mask. Carefully wipe any dirt or ash from the tank connections with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, mix two teaspoons of dish detergent with a half-gallon of water in a bucket. Rinse the couplings with running water, then wipe with a dry cloth. Set aside in a clean spot.

2
Repeat Step 1 for the hoses, paying special attention to the couplings. Set aside after cleaning.

3
Clean the mask. Wipe the mask down inside and out with a dry cloth. In a bucket, mix a 3/4 tsp of hypochlorite solution with a gallon of water (the ratio is 1 to 1000 cleaning solution to water). Wash the mash in the bucket with the cleaning solution, then wipe with a dry cloth.
