How to Display Skateboards

1
Decide which skateboard is the centerpiece of your collection. It could be an autographed one or a board that simply means a lot to you. Perhaps it's the best designed one. Pick what matters to you.
-
2
Choose a wall that would be great for a skateboard display. If you are living in a dorm, the wall closest to the door is probably the coolest choice. It just makes sense to have your boards right by the door. Grab them and go. If you are living in a home or apartment, you probably want to display them on your bedroom wall, unless your family or roommates are cool with a casual, skateboard decor in the living room or den!
-
3
Measure the length of your skateboards against the total length of the wall. This gives you an idea about how much room you'll have on the wall. If you can't display all of your skateboards, pick the best for the wall display. Lay the rest beneath the display, lined in a row for easy grabbing and moving.
-
4
Draw on paper how you want to design the wall. Put the priority skateboard in the middle of the display. Arrange the rest around the main skateboard.
-
5
Hammer in nails in the same manner that you would if you were going to hang a picture.
-
6
Place each skateboard on its corresponding nail.
-
7
Look over your display. Change out skateboards from time to time as your tastes change. You could also choose to add another wall for your skateboard display if it gets really massive.
