Snowmobile Trails in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources publishes snowmobile maps and trails by state region. There are five defined region with state trails: the northcentral mountains, Pocono and eastcentral mountains, central and southcentral mountains, Laurel Highlands and Allegheny National Forest. The trails open the day after regular or extended rifle deer season and close April 1 or earlier if insufficient snow conditions exist.
  1. Northcentral Mountains

    • The northcentral mountains region trails are S. B. Elliot State Park, Parker Dam State Park, Two Mile Run Trail, Cooks Run Division, Panther Trail, Hyner Mountain Trail, Beech Creek Trail, Coudy Pike Trail, Little Pine State Park Trail, Elk State Forest Trails, Armenia Mountain (ungroomed), Loyalsock State Forest, Worlds End State Park Trails, Black Moshannon Trail and Moshannon State Forest. All trails are groomed unless designated otherwise.

    Pocono and Eastcentral Mountains

    • The Pocono and eastcentral mountain region trails are Thornhurst Trail, Haldeman/Greenland Trail, Dixon Miller Recreation Area Trail, Snow Hill Trail Delaware State Forest, Promised Land State Park, Edgemere/Pecks Pond Trails and Port Clinton Trail.

    Central and Southcentral Mountains

    • The central and southcentral mountains trails are Michaux Southern Section, Martin Hill Trail, Broad Mountain Trail, Sideling Hill Trail,Tuscarora North Division, Seven Mountains Trail, Trough Creek Trail, Babcock Trail Bald Eagle South Division and Bald Eagle North Division.

    Laurel Highlands Region

    • The Laurel Highlands region trails include the Laurel Highlands---southern section and northern section.

    Allegheny National Forest

    • There are no snowmobile trails in the Allegheny National Forest region.
