Traditional 3D Archery

Ranges
-
Some 3D archery ranges are located indoors, where the targets are placed at the ends of long lanes at varying distances of length. Outdoor ranges provide the opportunity to shoot at various distances through various terrain like tree branches and shrubs, walk through trails and shoot in all types of weather.
Etiquette
-
Each archer takes his own turn separately. Shots should not take more than two to three minutes to account for those waiting in line. Ranges provide designated markers to stand behind while shooting. Archers bring any lost arrows back to the front of the range for other archers to identify.
Safety
-
Archers should stay behind the person that is currently shooting. Bring plenty of water because a range can be more than one one mile in length and take several hours to complete.
