Archery Ranges in Washington

Archery is an ancient skill that still is used today for hunting or as a recreational sport. The sport of archery can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Archery can be a hunting sport, referred to as bowhunting, and an Olympic sport as well, formally called competition archery. Archers and bowhunters can obtain memberships to archery ranges in the state of Washington to practice, compete in tournaments and develop friendships with other archers.
  1. Skookum Archers Club and Range

    • Skookum Archers Club and Range has a membership but is open to the public for a shooting fee and agreement to the rules of conduct. Skookum is one of the largest archery clubs in Washington state. It has 45 walk-through courses with flat range and broadhead pit areas. You can shoot 20 to 101 yards on the flat range.

    Cedar River Bowmen

    • The oldest continuously operated archery club in Washington state is Cedar River Bowmen in King County. Originally begun as an archery club through the Boeing company, it has continues to thrive as a premier archery club in the Pacific Northwest. CRB is a private club, so you will need to apply for membership. It is situated on 42 acres near Black Diamond, Washington off of Enumclaw-Franklin Road. It has four walk-through courses and a flat practice range. Amenities for its members include a lighted clubhouse, camping and picnicking areas, tournaments and access year-round to the ranges.

    Evergreen Archery Club

    • In Spokane, the Evergreen Archery Club is a nonprofit private archery club that offers 14 walk-through ranges, bowhunter education classes and tournaments. It caters to recreational experiences for the entire family as well as hunters and archery enthusiasts in the Spokane area. The range is located at Government Way and Houston Road.

    KBH Archers

    • KBH Archers is a range in Kitsap County that offers something for all skill levels. The range also is handicap accessible. Membership is available but non-members are allowed to use the facilities for a daily fee. There are 34 acres, 28 walk-through ranges, a clubhouse and fenced play area for kids. If you want to camp with your RV, there are 35 spaces available. The range also has an outdoor practice range and a broadhead area.
