California Archery Ranges

According to Livestrong.org, there are eleven archery ranges in California. Some are only open to the public at certain times and some are always open to the public.
  1. Outdoor archery ranges

    • Some ranges in California, such as the Riverside Archers Club, are up to 140 acres large. Clubs like Riverside Archers Club and the Oranco Bowmen have practice ranges, 3D ranges and National Field Archery Association (NFAA) walking ranges available. Personal equipment can be used or rented from the club or range.

    Costs

    • As of September 2010, range costs can be from as little as $10 a day per person in the Oranco Bowmen outdoor range to $10 an hour in the Archery Only shooting range. Annual memberships can work out cheaper; for example, at Riverside Archers and Oranco Bowmen, a year membership will cost around $200. Family memberships tend to be offered at a much cheaper group rate since clubs like families, which boost membership numbers.

    Indoor ranges

    • Some archery shops also provide indoor ranges. Equipment can be rented, but if a participant has their own gear the hourly rate is cheaper.
